Why You Want Recommendations Before You Buy

Before you head out to grab a bite to eat at a new place you probably, like me, Google reviews, ask your trusted network on Facebook to see if it’s worth it, and whatever you read is generally what you’ll do.  Good Review: Let’s Go!  Bad Review: Send the In-Laws. Having an Event Planner say a few nice things backstage about your Speech, Show, or Emcee work is really fulfilling.  Sadly, that’s usually where it ends, as asking them to say it in the camera can turn awkward and brutal as they struggle to recreate the magic of what they just eloquently said.  But having them actually write it down, send it to you, and then verify it on the eSpeakers Marketplace, now that’s what I’m talking about! Last week I had the privilege of doing what I do best: Opening Keynote Speaker in the morning and Evening Entertainment to close the event.  The group was ecstatic.  Said it was the best convention in 35 years. Not because of me, but because it was in Clearwater, FL.  But maybe I had a little to do with it turning out good. I have been told by event planners that it

My Wife in The Spotlight

A few months ago our office received a request to have me speak at Midvale Middle School.  They had a small amount of money and were going to figure out how to make it happen to have me do an assembly for their school.  We figured it out and set the date. I mentioned in passing to my wife that I would be speaking at Midvale MS, to which she excitedly replied, “That’s where I went to middle school!” I thought I knew my wife better than that!  I should’ve known that’s where she went. And so, we contacted the school back, revoked the invoice, told them they were getting the assembly for their school FOR FREE.  They were thrilled.  Of course, it was in honor of my Tami. In this month of October 2014, we are doing 8 schools for free in the State of Utah.  Next month we have a few as well, and into 2015.  We unfortunately can’t accept all requests, as my goal is to have time to be with family more in 2015 than I have since my career began.  I’ll be doing around 200 events this year, many of them at schools.  In other

New Show by Jason Hewlett

Hello Friends! Wow it’s already MARCH, crazy how quickly time flies when you’re doing something you’re passionate about. Many have asked, “ARE YOU RETIRED?” The Answer is: NOOOOOO! I am still performing at corporate, association, and private events WORLDWIDE and loving it. I hope you’ll pass my name along to your event planning associates in your workplace or elsewhere (however my engagements are extremely limited to see me at a concert hall or amphitheater near you, perhaps that will change someday though, you never know). Here is a LINK to my WEBSITE: http://jasonhewletttheentertainer.com In the meantime I want you to know that I have added many NEW ACTS TO MY SHOW, so if you haven’t seen me in over a year it may be time to have me return to your event! Additions include: YOUNG CROWD: Maroon 5’s “Moves Like Jagger/Grocery Bagger”, Bruno Mars (“Buy Lemonade from ya”), Coldplay (still testing between “Pair of Flies” and “Parasites”), Nicki Minaj, Gotye (“Now I’m just a loser with an old iPhone…”), Justin Beiber, Black Eyed Peas, Mumford & Sons, Fun, Adele (“Rolling in my Sleep”), Taylor Swift (from the ex-boyfriends perspective) and many others. 80’s FANS: The Police, Cyndi Lauper, a bunch
